About this event

Join us at TreePeople Headquarters in Coldwater Canyon Park for an engaging discussion on watershed health and Measure W, exploring how regional water policy, stormwater capture, and watershed management connect with urban forestry and long-term urban sustainability. Amanda Begley will share insights into the critical role nature-based solutions play in building more resilient communities and protecting our local water resources.

The event will be held in the Schuman Family Foundation Conference Center, a LEED Platinum-certified facility designed as a living demonstration of sustainable urban infrastructure. Located within TreePeople's 45-acre Coldwater Canyon Park campus in the Santa Monica Mountains, the site features rainwater capture systems, a 216,000-gallon underground cistern, the La Kretz Urban Watershed Garden, native plant nurseries, educational gardens, and trails that showcase innovative environmental solutions. Location: 12601 Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.

Parking is available in the TreePeople Parking Grove at the intersection of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Mulholland Drive, directly across from the traffic signal and marked by a green TreePeople sign. A large section of parking will be reserved for attendees; however, parking is limited, so carpooling and ridesharing are encouraged. The Conference Center is located adjacent to the main parking area, and restrooms are conveniently situated nearby between the nursery and the Conference Center. Please refer to the event map for detailed directions.
